This site is published by Agence CQMI, a matchmaking agency based in Canada. It is an information site about the British side of cross-border relationships. It is not a dating service and it does not publish profiles.

How the guides are written

Anything that depends on UK law or administration is read from gov.uk, nhs.uk or another official page. The margin note beside each fact names the page and the date it was checked. Where the official page does not say something, we do not fill the gap with a guess.

The archive

The domain existed long before this version. A few older pages were still worth keeping, and they have been corrected, merged and dated. Pages that were promotional, garbled or misleading were not kept. Their old addresses lead to the nearest current page.

What we do not do

• We do not give immigration, legal or financial advice on individual cases.
• We do not publish profiles, photographs or personal details of real women.
• We do not accept payment to feature a service.

The illustrations are generated with artificial intelligence and do not depict real, identifiable people.
